Yet, the price is so low because D-Link has simply repackaged the former DI-624 model and added a streamlined installer. Throughput is still about 40 Mbps, which is typical for routers that use the older Atheros Super-G chipset. D-Link still offers the same matching PC Card for this router, the DWL-G650 PC Card, as the older DI-624 4 port wireless router. (Another change has the DWL-G650  is now shipping4 port wireless router as the WNA-2330 4 port wireless router so you might see both at the store.) To get the best speeds, you'll need to tweak the settings for Super-G and live with less compatibility, since you'll have to disable 802.11b.
